What to Expect:
This design-focused workshop will introduce participants to the process of creating imagery for Fire Press Library. Participants will learn the ins and outs of developing images that can be translated into stamps and brands, with the goal of creating new community-designed imagery for the Fire Press Library collection. Designs developed during this workshop will be incorporated into the November Hamline Midway Coalition annual meeting event.

What to Expect:
This two-hour workshop will combine design development with hands-on printing and making. The first hour will introduce Fire Press Library and guide participants through creating imagery and designs. The second hour will focus on printing and making with Fire Press Library tools and imagery.

Participants may attend either portion or stay for the entire workshop. Those attending one portion should expect to participate for approximately one hour, while participants who would like the full design-and-making experience can attend for both hours. All workshop materials are provided through the Minnesota State Arts Board Art Experiences grant.

What to Expect:
Fire Press Library will offer an open-format community art-making experience as part of the Hamline Midway Coalition’s annual meeting and celebration of the past year. Activities will include art prints, printed tote bags, wood-burned name tags, and other hot and cold-press projects. The event will also debut new Fire Press Library designs created by community members during the October 28 design workshop. Participants may stop by at any point during the event and do not need to attend for the full three hours.
